YogashalaWaterdown has such a comfortable and low pressure atmosphere. I always look forward to spending time there. Wonderful teachers and staff, and a perfect variety of class options. So happy to be part of this environment.
Soo’s journey with yoga has evolved tremendously over the past
20 years. She first found yoga as a competitive athlete suffering
from a sports injury. However, what was once a physical exercise
has become so much more – ashtanga yoga was the perfect complement
to her varsity sports, providing injury protection; prenatal yoga
was a blessing through her three pregnancies; gentle yoga focusing
on stress reduction was an incredible balance to life with three
kids under 5; and the story continues…
Soo completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training in 2017 and a 40-hr restorative yoga training in 2018. She loves every hour of sharing and doing yoga with others and is thrilled to join the teaching team at Yogashala. From the first time she practiced at Yogashala, on opening day, she knew it was a special place in her community that she wanted to support.
Soo strives to craft flowing, balanced and creative classes but most importantly she hopes to support people in their own personal journey with yoga, and life.
