YogashalaWaterdown has such a comfortable and low pressure atmosphere. I always look forward to spending time there. Wonderful teachers and staff, and a perfect variety of class options. So happy to be part of this environment.
Stacey has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, and
teaching for 10 years. Her classes will challenge you to take
yourself less seriously, to think, to grow, and to build physical
strength and spiritual compassion. Stacey finds inspiration
everywhere: music, books, her teachers, and in other people’s
stories. Yoga has helped her to become a more honest, loving and
authentic person. Through her journey, she has learned to love all
parts of herself, seeing herself as “perfectly imperfect”. She fell
in love with Yoga because she loves to be challenged. Only after
sustaining an injury, did Stacey begin to truly understand the
power of Yoga.
The discipline to her Yoga and Meditation practice was more
realized after she had back and neck surgery. After beginning her
teaching journey with a 200hr Yoga teacher training at the Joschi
Yoga Institute in NYC, she quickly realized that her true calling
was to be able to share what she had learned.
In 2010, yearning to delve deeper, Stacey embarked on a 300hr
advanced teacher training at Laughing Lotus’ Lotus Flow University
in NYC, where she focused on Aryuveda, Bhakti, and Super
Sequencing. She also studied a 50hr Restorative Yoga program with
Judith Hanson Lasater. Stacey was then blessed to travel to India
in 2014 to embark on a Yoga Pilgrimage, under the tutelage of
Most recently, Stacey completed a 500hr advanced “Change Your
Life” teacher training with Ragunath Cappo and Sondra Loring at the
Sadhana Center for Yoga and Meditation in Hudson, NY.
