This was the most peaceful class I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending. In the beginning, while in some of the poses I would think to myself “I don’t know what this is going to do for me...”, but then I’d get out of the pose and instantly feel a difference, like in my back. No exaggeration when I say I was pleasantly surprised each time. Mathilda was guiding us through a peaceful and calming journey, and her choice of words and affirmations truly made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Mathilda!
Alison Hindle - Yoga & Pilates Instructor
YogaFit 200; Body Harmonics certified Pilates instructor
After being diagnosed with a mild form of scoliosis as a kid, Alison turned to Pilates after hearing from others that it would help with her back pain. After one class, she was hooked! Not only was Alison feeling better about her back, she had more energy and more strength overall. In fact, the doctor could no longer see any signs of scoliosis.
Alison's journey of becoming a Pilates teacher began in 2007 and led her to many different paths and teacher trainings. In 2012, Alison added her 200 hour yoga teacher training. Incorporating Yoga into her Pilates classes was a fun way to change up the class format and give students a sense of calmness and relaxation at the same time.
Alison loves teaching Pilates with small props, such as Therabands, Pilates balls and weighted balls. She focuses on moving from the core to help strengthen and balance the rest of the body. Alison hopes that you leave her classes feeling amazing and centered!
