E-RYT 500-hr 

A longtime student of yoga and meditation, Stacy has studied with a variety of teachers. She completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program in 2000. She has completed over 1000 hours of yoga and meditation teacher training.  In 2008, she founded Serene Yoga Studio (SYS). 

Stacy’s yoga classes, the Yoga Actions teacher training program and workshops hold a unique philosophy which allows ANYbody to practice yoga. This approach will help you THRIVE on and off the mat on all levels of being. She had the honour of facilitating mindfulness meditation and yoga classes for Team Canada Women’s volleyball team for four years from 2008 until the team relocated.

Stacy, along with Helen Maupin and Candace Propp, co-designed the Yoga Actions Teacher Training program.  In addition they co-authored a regular yoga column in the Winnipeg Free Press from 2015-2019. One of Stacy’s greatest joys is facilitating the Yoga Actions teacher training program at Serene Yoga Studio and she is deeply grateful for the SYS sangha (yoga community). Her aim is to share how yoga can help the individual cultivate a deep felt sense of ease and serenity.
