In 2000, Stacy discovered Yoga and mindfulness through the
mindfulness based stress reduction program (MBSR). The yogic way of
life has expanded her awareness in so many ways and has provided a
sangha (community) that she is deeply grateful for. She has had the
opportunity to travel extensively which has also deepened her
practice greatly.
In 2008, she started renting rooms and offering classes as
Serene Yoga Studio. Serene has grown into a beautiful yoga
community, with 14 instructors several styles of Yoga.
Since 2015 Stacy, Helen Maupin and Candace Propp have
co-authored a regular yoga column in the Winnipeg Free press. She
currently lives in Winnipeg, MB with her husband and two
children.
