I stubbornly attempted to do yoga at home for years (pre-Covid) and had … well not the greatest results. In late 2019 I finally decided I needed to get out and into a studio to really see and feel the results I desired. Starting classes at the Yoga Loft was so easy and I immediately felt welcome by the staff, teachers and Jennifer. Within a few short weeks I was seeing and feeling the results I wanted. Starting off slow and going 1 or 2 times a week I made it to 5 times a week very quickly. It was not hard, I wanted to go, my body wanted me to go, my mind was happy I went. There is not enough space here to rave enough about all the teachers. Extremely talented and well-rounded group of instructors.  Got a bit sidetracked with Covid but I am back at  Yoga Loft now and could not be happier or feel safer. Thanks Jennifer.

Lifetime fitness enthusiast and student of the structure, movement, and breathing of the human body.
Certified as a cardio/aerobics instructor in 1990 and taught aerobics, step, and spin classes for several years.
In 1997 began training in Shotokan Karate and received a 1st degree black belt in 1999 and a 2nd degree black belt in 2005. Taught martial arts classes and cardio kick-boxing classes from 1999 to 2015.
Also began yoga training in 1997 at the Downward Dog yoga centre in Toronto receiving guidance from 2 internationally known yogis, Ron Reid and Marla Joy in the practice of Ashtanga Yoga. Attended numerous seminars led by Danny Paradise, one of the world's best known yogis, in addition to several other seminars encompassing many other yoga styles including Bikram Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Pilates. Began dedicated Pranayama study in 1998 in various breathing practices including Nauli Kriya, Uddiyana Kriya, Nadi Shodana, etc. and am regarded as a Nauli master in the yoga community. Certified as a Yoga and Pilates Teacher in January 2017 and taught regularly at Olive Tree Yoga studio in Vaughan from January 2017 to October 2019.
So happy and excited to be a recent addition to the Yogaloft teaching staff and community!
My teaching style focuses on functional mobility and breathing building into dynamic flow sequences.
