I took my first class today, after many months of 'planning to take my first class'. As I often do with things I need, but put off for whatever reason; I found myself thinking after the class “why the heck didn't I do that sooner?!” While my body is still in a state of recovering from an episode due to a chronic illness, I felt I was able to participate at my own pace within the class, and it really did leave me feeling so much better than how I felt before the class started. Grateful to this team. Will be a regular in classes, from now on.
In 2018 I earned my 200 hour RYT certification at Rising Lotus Yoga under the guidance of Claire Hartley, Daniel Stewart, and Nina Siemaszko.
My goal is to bring an approachable and nourishing environment to every lesson.I specialize in working with people who might need a little extra guidance getting started. Whether this is because you are brand new to the practice, or have physical “limitations” from temporary injury or chronic pain and illness. I will ask personally your particular needs and concerns to provide the best sequence and variations for your body.
I strive to provide a well balanced lesson with dharma (the teaching of the yogic mindset), asana (poses), and meditation to leave your body, mind and soul feeling refreshed, awakened and connected.
