“Over 9 years ago, I had the opportunity to take my 200hr
teacher training in Ottawa and thereafter help start up our family
run yoga studio, Radiant Health Yoga! Since then I have trained
with a lot of amazing teachers over the years and expanded my
knowledge in Pre/Postnatal trainings, Pelvic Health, Mindful
Strength, Movement for Trauma, Shamanic healing and and beyond
which have all impacted how I teach and deliver a yoga class today!
My main focus is teaching clients how to get into their bodies on a
deeper level... creating verbal cues that help them connect to
their deep muscle layers through core breathing , self awareness +
moving meditations... I invite people to show up for themselves
that day...wherever they’re at, physically and mentally. I show
clients the importance of engagement and stability in their
postures and support them in creating functional breathing
techniques paired with mindful movement... which can help them
create release + flexibility. You'll find a lot of options (yogis’
choice :) and layers of fluid transitions
throughout my classes… a mix of restorative movements and a lil bit
of challenge through endurance and strength-based flows. I feel
it's most important that my clients walk away feeling they have
power & choice in their practice which in turn, trickles into
their day to day life....I teach with compassion and awareness so
that others feel encouraged to do what feels best for their body in
that moment... whether they have just had the best day ever, are
experience postpartum issues, recovering from an injury, going
through a death in the family, a serious illness, or coming to
celebrate their bodies capabilities… we all deserve to move in such
a way that helps us heal, embrace who we are and connect to our
higher selves. I’m here to provide a space where people can feel
and be whoever they need to be for that hour. Teaching people to
move with mindfulness within themselves on more than just a
physical level is such an honour and a truly rewarding feeling. I
