Permanent Part-Time Admin Position Opportunity.
This is a permanent part time position for someone who wants to be the heartbeat of our front desk. But before I describe the role, I want to be honest about the environment, because this position is not for everyone, and I would rather say that clearly now than waste your time or ours.
This is a small business. And working in a small business is genuinely different to working in a corporation, a government role, or a large organisation with layers of process and support structure cushioning every decision. There is no giant manual. There is no team of people to escalate to. There is no hand-holding into usefulness.
What there is, is a small, deeply committed team with extremely high standards, a genuine love for what we do, and a real need for someone who can hold complexity without becoming the complexity.
We are looking for someone who brings initiative before being asked. Who sees what needs doing and does it. Who can read a room, read a client, and read the moment and respond with discernment rather than waiting for a script. Who takes ownership of the space they are in rather than asking what's in it for them. Who can hold a hard conversation, navigate an imperfect day, and still show up for the next one without making it everyone else's problem.
Tals and I are the kind of people who remove pressure, not add it. We need someone who does the same. Someone who protects our standards rather than eroding them. The hours are:
Tuesday 8am – 5pm Wednesday 2pm – 8pm Saturday 9am – 4pm
This person will be warm, punctual, organised, and people oriented. Available for all three shifts on an ongoing basis with flexibility to help with covers if and when they come up. You will align genuinely with health, holistic wellbeing, and the values we live by here, not because it looks good on a resume, but because it is actually who you are.
