I wanted to share a few exciting updates and upcoming events happening in the studio.
Studio Refresh
You might notice a few touch-ups happening around the studio as we’re doing a light refresh with some painting, maintenance + Signage to keep everything looking fresh and welcoming.
Thank you for your patience while this work happens. It won’t interfere with any of your classes.
Wellness Series Launch
We’re so excited to announce our upcoming Wellness Series, a four-part educational series designed to help you learn, ask questions, and get clarity on topics that come up so often in class conversations.
Here’s what’s coming up:
1. Nutrition + Pilates with a Nutritionist
2. Bone Health + Pilates with a Chiropractor
3. Women’s Health/Hormones + Movement with a Women's Health Coach
4. Mental Health and Movement with a Psychologist
These sessions are FREE for all members, and we’d love for you to join in and get your questions answered.
Our first session kicks off this Saturday, October 18 at 2:30pm with Nutritionist Rach Saunders.
Bookings are essential via the Pilates + Gisborne app or website.
The Blue Tea Party - Fundraiser for Type 1 Diabetes
We’re also gearing up for our Type 1 Diabetes Blue Tea Party, hosted by myself and my daughter Ella.
As many of you know, Ella was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, and we’re raising funds to support Breakthrough Type 1, an incredible organisation working toward better research and a cure. Bookings via our app or the website Pilates Plus Gisborne
Event Date/Time: Saturday, 8 November at 1.00pm
Tickets: $35 per person
There will be plenty of prizes and giveaways on the day.
If you can’t make it, you can still support the cause by donating through Ella’s fundraising page (link below), which is also linked on our website and in our Instagram bio.
Breakthrough T1D Blue Army - The Blue Tea Party for T1D
Christmas Schedule and Holiday Holds
Believe it or not, Christmas is just around the corner. As always, we’ll be running a reduced holiday schedule to give our staff and members some well-deserved downtime with family.
The schedule will look very similar to last year, with fewer classes running from the 27th December through to the 12th January!
If you’d like to take a break over this period, you can pause your membership by sending your hold request by December 15th to hello@pilatesplusgisborne.com.au so we have time to process everything.
You can book classes up to 60 days in advance, so feel free to secure your favourite sessions early.
Please also be mindful of others during this time. If you can’t attend a class, remove yourself from the booking or waitlist to give others a chance to join.
