I’m Len, CEO and co-founder of WellnessLiving. We are the fastest growing, all-in-one business management software in the health and wellness space, and one of the business types we’re super excited to work with are dance studios. Dancing is an activity that I personally enjoy very much because it really helps me build positive energy. I feel that dance truly brings people together, and I appreciate everything dance studio owners do for their customers. I’ve even had the chance to visit some of our customers with dance studios and talk all about their success using WellnessLiving.
First, let me tell you about our story. Getting here wasn’t easy, but I’m proud of how we did it—it took a lot of hard work, support from the dance community, and a little bit of fate.
In 2009, I started a bootcamp that grew into a business with multiple locations across North America. As the business grew, I was overwhelmed with the increasing fees from my business management software: Mindbody. I knew there had to be a better solution.
By luck, I ran into my childhood friend, Sasha Davids, while on vacation in Jamaica. We spent the whole week catching up and I shared the challenges I was facing with my customer relationship management (CRM) and scheduling software and knew I wasn’t alone.
Together, Sasha and I set out to build an easy-to-use, customizable, and affordable platform for our customers. After all, our customers are why we do this! Our dedicated team has spent many hours perfecting each software tool with dance studio owners like you in mind. Each tool helps you to automate and streamline the client experience in a whole new way.

Our business management software is like a Swiss Army knife for efficiently running the day-to-day operations of your dance studio. Just ask Matthew Sove, the owner of Ballroom Dance Chicago. I had the opportunity to speak with Matthew as part of our CEO Tour—a passion project of mine where I visit our customers, listen to their amazing stories, and even take a class.
When I visited Matthew, he told me one of their biggest challenges was that they didn’t have a system to continue to engage with clients once they’ve ended their dance lessons. Many of their clients come to them at a turning point in their life, like a wedding, and need to be prepared for that date. Matthew needed a way to organize all the information from thousands of clients from over 10 years in business.
Once Matthew discovered our software’s automated marketing suite, everything changed! He can now streamline his communication with clients who haven’t visited in a while by setting up customized email templates that encourage them to come back. I was happy to hear that many clients have responded to those emails and have even signed up for more dance lessons as a result.
