Teaching Method: Native-fluency instructors promote the use of Japanese in the classroom by using activities, grammar drills, visual elements as well as conversation. Instructors use various audio and visual elements that are complementary and inter-related so that the same vocabulary or element of grammar is practiced and reinforced in many different ways to create variety, encourage participation and avoid boredom.

Beginner level description: A great course for students who are 14 to 17 years old and have completed the Beginner 2 level or similar.

COMMUNICATION: Talk about everyday doings, what you will do when, and where. State how frequently you do something and give a brief reason for why you do it. Order food at a restaurant. Talk about the characteristics of things and people. Use basic greetings when visiting people and receiving guests. Talk about giving and receiving gifts. Praise someone's posessions. Express your thoughts about experiences. Express gratitude. Make a telephone call.
