This six-week series explores the complexities of the mind and the power of the meditative techniques of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. This series is about the structure of the mind and what you can do to direct, develop, and apply it. You will explore how to know and understand the mind so it becomes your ally and not your problem. You will discover how you can increase your skills and sensitivity and give you practical techniques to apply to the way you think, how you make choices, your values, your relationships and how you maintain balance in your life. Together let us create some change.
Many people think that all meditations are the same and they consist of sitting and making the mind calm. As you will discover in this series it is more accurate to think of meditation as having at least two major components. One is the general training of the attention and ways to hold your awareness. Second, there are specific targeted techniques that focus on some Aspect or Projection of the mind.
Each class consists of a Kundalini Kriya to move energy, a lecture on an aspect of the mind and a meditation technique to practice over the week. At the end of the series you will have over six different meditation techniques to live the life you were meant to live.

Jan 29th Pratyahaar, Simran, and meditating with Silent Awareness or with mantra – LECTURE
MEDITATION – Celestial Communications
Feb 5th Preparing for meditation and choosing a meditation – LECTURE
MEDITATION– Practicing a few Kundalini Meditations to practice skills and techniques
Feb 12th Group discussion of meditation experiences through the course – LECTURE
MEDITATION – Continued practice and assignment of a 40 day personal meditation.
