Weight or BMI alone is not a clear indicator of good health because it does not distinguish between pounds that come from body fat and those that come from lean body mass or muscle. Get your measurements taken to truly see where your health is and learn ways to improve it. You can also get measurements done BEFORE and DURING your new health and fitness journey to truly see how far you've progressed!
Resting metabolic rate (also called RMR) is the rate at which your body burns energy when it is at complete rest. We calculate your resting metabolic rate to see how many calories your body needs to perform basic functions like breathing and circulation. This is important when determining a meal plan or determining how many macronutrients you should consume in a day to meet your goals.
When focusing on your health and fitness goals, you should have your measurements and RMR done at the very least, every 2 months.
