Consider this module Yoga Sutras 101 as we will take a look at the who, what, where, when and why of The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. We will explore the myth around the author Patanjali as well as the historical context and culture of spiritual practices in India around the time this seminal text was written. We will additionally dive into the definition of yoga according to the sutras, a brief overview of Sankyha philosophy how to understand the structure and organization of the padas or chapters. 

Note: If a student has a copy of the Yoga Sutras, they are encouraged to bring them. 

Our Continuing Education Immersions are open to certified yoga teachers (from our school or any other) looking to gather more knowledge and CEU's, wellness practitioner that want to add in yoga practices to what they already offer and/or students looking to deepen their own practice.
