Description
Join Shannon for a two hour workshop specific for those active in sports (weightlifting, runners, cyclists or anyone interested in the general well being of their body).
We will explore different techniques available such as myofascial release where we use balls to help treat skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, This style of release also helps to improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulate the stretch reflex in muscles.
As well as passive/active stretching to release tight muscles aided with breath-work and ending with a restorative practice to reset the nervous system.
Special Instructions
Suitable for all levels including beginners.
