This class is for fiddle players who have gone through MAFAA’s Fiddle two or private lessons. The core of this class is learning the repertoire of American fiddle music. Tunes will be taught in the traditional way by ear. A huge stylistic cross section from Old Time to Western Swing Playing will be covered. Songs will be conducted at the rate of one per week. If you have experience playing the fiddle and want to broaden your playing, this class is for you.

A parent or guardian must be present at the first class to meet with the instructor.

There is a 4 student minimum for this class. If the minimum enrollment is not met, you will be notified by the instructor and will able to choose another class, or wiil be offerred a refund.
