Silks 101 is a 90-minute workshop suited for complete beginners as well as students who have been out of practice and would like a refresher on the basics of Aerial Silks. This workshop is also a preparation for serious students who wish to explore and delve deeper into the practice of Circus and other Aerial Arts offered at our facilities.

Students will learn how to climb, create wrist and foot locks, and invert safely and with confidence on the silks apparatus. Warm up and cool down exercises will be given to prepare the body for flight and allow it to settle back down to the ground.

NOTE: This workshop is highly recommended before taking our Aerial Silks classes. We recommend clothing that covers the backs of the knees and armpits to avoid silk burn.
