-
To improve musicality and character work through dance.
-
To build confidence in movement.
Specifications
Workshop style classes, hour and a half in length to allow for warm-up, lecture, practice, and execution.
Initially a four week session to judge interest and future direction of classes.
Milestones
-
Confidence of Students
By the end of the four weeks, even the most timid student who says “I can’t dance” should feel more at ease and confident. Preparing for the dance portion of an audition will be easier with a few of the basics under their belt.
-
Knowledge of Dance Terms and Vocabulary
Students will be familiar with basic terms universally used in dance and theatre. This will allow them to better communicate with directors and choreographers when working on projects, shows, or auditions.
