The practice of yoga is designed to help us reduce our own suffering and increase our capacity for joy. It takes intention to step out of the urgency of life and make space to observe our habits. Whether teaching group yoga classes or creating space for personal practice, effort to create an intentional space is needed. In this 10-hour workshop, we will discuss various tools of yoga to create an intentional space (karma, sankia yoga), what yoga tools are most valuable for you at this time in your life, and how to create space for a personal practice to help you be more functional in your life. We will also discuss the role of the yoga teacher, how to create themed yoga classes, marketing ideas, and ethics of teaching. This workshop will include lecture and guided practices. 10 Yoga Alliance CEUs will be available for participation in both days of training.
