Come along and experience two weeks of Restorative Yoga bliss (in the Iyengar style) to start to experience a new baseline of relaxtion in the body.
Restorative yoga poses are held for longer periods than standard poses with the joints supported through the use of props such as blankets, blocks and bolsters.
We will complete a sequence over the two hour workshop specifically sequenced to rejuvinate the body at times of high stress, at the beginning of the menstrual cycle or times of increased mental or physical fatigue. Whilst we have started to explore the benefits of Restorative poses every four weeks in the studio we still do not have the time to go through a complete sequence.
Restorative yoga is suitable for all levels and a great tool for many modern day stress conditions such as immune system deficiency, anxiety, depression, fatigue and tension of mind and body.
