Viniyoga is a comprehensive and authentic transmission of the teachings of yoga including āsanaprāāyāmabandha, sound, chanting, meditation, personal ritual and study of texts. Viniyoga (prefixes vi and ni plus yoga) is an ancient Sanskrit term that implies differentiation, adaptation, and appropriate application. Gary Kraftsow, MA, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT,  evolved this approach to yoga from the teachings transmitted by T. Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar of Madras, India.

This series will be led by Jarrod Roy, BA, 500-Hour-Certified Viniyoga Teacher, ERYT-200.
He is just fresh off completing a two year, 500 Hour Viniyoga teacher training with Gary Kraftsow.  Jarrod’s passion is to share and uphold these teachings of yoga, as he has learned them.  He possesses an unmistakable desire and joy for yoga teaching and spiritual study, upholding the full breadth of the ancient yoga tradition.  Jarrod’s approach to yoga is gentle, inclusive, intuitive and adaptive.  He promises that upon completion of this series, participants will have an increased understanding of the yogic tools used on this five week journey, that can lead one to transformation, autonomy and inner-peace.
