Come a weekend of meditation on the most definitive text on the philosophy of yoga. Originally written in a coded version of Buddhist Hybrid Sanskrit, a commentary is required to make sense of this text. While Vyāsa's most famous commentary (called the Yoga Bhashya) is the standard, there is a rich forest of other commentary traditions that have evolved through the centuries from the original text.

In this workshop we will unpack the greatest hits of the Yoga Sūtra in a way that makes sense with a 21st-century interpretation of a wide variety of contemplative practices, as well as the new cognitive psychology studies. You will also learn techniques for learning each sūtra that can help you bring concrete insights into your students while they are training.
