Description

This Sound Journey will be held in our our studio and is limited to 8, be sure to sign up in advance.

On the third Sunday of the month, join Michael Burke, Vibrational Sound Therapist, during this 90 minute meditation experience of sound from an assortment of instruments including Himalayan bowls, gong, Shaman drum, chimes, Native American flute and spoken word. Participants are encouraged to lay down in a comfortable position for them making use of props such as blankets, bolsters and eye pillows, and are expected to do nothing... This is a time of BEing, not DOing...This is a space where the ability to receive is highly accentuated and we tap into the Divine Consciousness flowering through our every breath as human beings.. Not human doings.. To unplug is beneficial for the entire system.. this subtle, yet powerful act of surrendering and allowing, creates an energetic flow where homeostasis happens naturally and the feel-good chemicals of our systems are released, so that as we experience the rebuilding of our selves.

Relax, Release, Rejuvenate!!!

Space is limited to 8 people.

Participants should bring their own mats, blankets, pillows/bolsters, eye pillows.

Aerial hammocks will NOT be available for this Sound Journey, however, if you want to bring your own aerial hammock, we'd be happy to hang it up for you to use.

COVID-19 Infection Mitigation Measures

  • Teachers and clients are asked to stay home if exhibiting any symptoms or if any family members are infected. Current symptoms are known to be: Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Chills/Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore Throat, New loss of taste or smell.
  • All classes will take place in the large practice room and we have marked locations on the floor to ensure social distancing of 10 feet between people.
  • Teachers will not provide any hands-on assistance or touching.
  • We are disinfecting bathrooms and common areas between classes.
  • We plan to keep all doors open to allow for air circulation and limit door knob surfaces to touch. Dress accordingly based on outside temperature.

Please assist us by cooperating with the following new protocols:

In Studio Protocols

Social distancing  - We ask that everyone observe social distancing of 6 feet while in the studio common areas and remain in marked locations spaced out 10 feet in the large practice room.

Mask usage - We recommend clients wear masks when walking around in common areas where 6 feet of distance cannot be maintained.

Keeping hands clean - As always, we have hand sanitizer available for use and request that clients wash their hands when they arrive or use tissue paper to touch knobs and handles.

Credit card only payments - We will move to a cashless payment policy in the studio, only accepting credit card payments. Grey Owl gear may now be purchased online and we are in the process of transitioning more retail items to online.

Storage of personal items - Please bring minimal items with you to the studio. You may leave your shoes outside the practice room and bring necessary personal items (car keys, purse, etc.) along with your mat, props and water bottle into the large practice room. Cubbies are reserved for monthly member prop storage.

Refrain from gathering in the lobby and hallways - When you arrive, please make your way to your location in the large practice room so that we avoid gathering in spaces that do not allow for ample social distancing. Once class ends, please refrain from congregating in the studio lobby or hallway. This will hopefully be a temporary measure but we want to exercise an abundance of caution for the time being.

Bring your own mat and props, water bottles - All props will be removed from the studio initially as a safety measure so please bring your own mat and props ( block, strap, bolster, blanket, eye pillow, etc.). We will discontinue water and tea service for the time being, please bring your own water bottle.

After You Leave

If you become infected, please notify the studio (info@greyowlmb.com) so we may follow appropriate post-infection protocols.
