We offer you the chance to try mindfulness mediation in this 2-hour GoYoga workshop. You may have heard of mindfulness or tried meditation using an app or online course. This is the chance to explore a number of practices to train the attention, become more aware of the present moment and so learn to acknowledge, but not be a slave to, the constantly overthinking human mind. In this interactive session, we will discuss the theory and science behind mindfulness in order to explore how and why it works. As well as breathing exercises, we will try mindful walking and movement and finish with a longer mindful visualisation to end. Christine is a fully accredited mindfulness practitioner. Mindfulness is proven to increase focus, memory, resilience, change adaptability. A regular practice is scientifically proven to decrease anxiety, recurring depression, stress, unproductive multitasking and mental tiredness.
