Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety? Finding it difficult to find calm and quiet states?
Join JoAnna for a calming and renewing restorative yoga practice which incorporates gentle stretching, mindfulness practices, guided meditation and breathing to still and rest the body, mind and spirit. This is the perfect pre bedtime ritual and will help down regulate the nervous system to address anxiety.
 
We recommend finding a quiet and dark spot (maybe light some candles), get into loose fitting, comfortable clothes ( e.g. PJs). If this is a before bed activity, you may want to set-up on your bedroom floor. Collect 2-3 pillows/couch pillows/bolsters, cozy blankets, sandbags and an eye pillow if you have one.
 
You'll spend much of the time on the floor using props to fully support your body as it rests for 5 minutes or more in each nurturing pose/stretch.
