How are you feeling as 2020 is coming to a close? The year is
ending and the Winter solstice is a time of quiet contemplation and
reflection of what was, what is, and what will be.
Some may be excited and ready for this next chapter. Some may be hopeful for a turn for the better.
Regardless of how you feel, the close of this year means new beginnings. A turn from the old and a face to the new together. Please join us at Metropolitan Studios for this sacred night where we will enjoy a feast of the season, a meditation led by Talloolah Love, and a yule fire (weather permitting) (Please bring hats, coats, gloves and scarves to protect yourself from what may be a pretty cold night!
The winter solstice is nature’s way of signifying a turning point, and it gives us an opportunity to do the same. We invite you to join us in the back lot, or for a Virtu-Yule celebration as we all set up an altar, light the yule fires, and burn the past, be present in the moment, and look to the future.
Please note, should the weather not cooperate, the entire event will be virtual. You will want at least a candle, your drink of choice, and a snack of some kind in order to participate. If you'd rather just observe and bear witness, that's fine too!
