This 4-Week Beginner Yoga Series
is designed to alleviate worries about your first yoga class and
make your introduction to yoga enjoyable. This is also a
great course for current yoga practitioners who are looking to
revisit beginning principles or those who have been out of practice
and would like a refresher.
In this series, you will learn foundational poses that are taught in most classes with a focus on technique and alignment, while developing camaraderie with other students who are learning too. Upon completion of this series you can expect to be prepared to enter a regular class with increased confidence.
This course will cover:
- Poses (Asana)
- Sun salutations (Namaskar)
- Breath work (Pranayama)
- Basic history and principles
This series is held in the studio. Mats will be positioned a minimum of twelve feet apart. Masks must be worn the entire time you are in the building.
Bring your own props (preferred)
or borrow ours at no cost. All props are available for
purchase at 20% off for attendees of this course for the duration
of the course.
