In four methodical 1.5 hour classes, learn how to safely move, strengthen and relieve pain through Yoga for Spinal Herniations.

Herniation Basics is taught by Alison West, a leader in the field of Yoga Therapy for the Spine. She will share with you the fundamentals of safe movement both in and out of Yoga class. Understanding a neutral spine is important and fun. There is so much that you can do safely and you will leave with useful tools and working principles. Each class will build on the previous one, taking you from the essentials of safe movement to Standing Poses, Core Strength Poses and more.

Level: all levels and teachers, but geared towards a Basic Practice.

Props: a mat, a chair,  two yoga belts, two blocks, two yoga blankets.

If you don’t have precisely these things, don’t worry. You’ll have similar items at home, from regular blankets, towels, books (for blocks),  and so on. But 8ft yoga belts are necessary. You can order those from Yoga Accessories
