Beginner II classes will start out assuming you already have a basic knowledge of tuning, holding the guitar and pick, and how to change between some basic chords like G, C, D, A, em, etc. If you still feel like a beginner, but you know a little bit already, this is the class for you! We'll spend six weeks learning songs, playing with other folks, and finally ending with a Showcase with your classmates! 

This is a six-week class that meets on Wednesdays at Girl Guitar from 8:15-9:15pm CT from Oct. 27-Dec. 8, skipping Nov. 24 for Thanksgiving week, with a Showcase on Sunday, Dec. 12. This class is taught by TBA and is for women 21+.

Girl Guitar is located at 2309 Thornton Studio C.

Congrats on getting started! This is going to be fun. You'll need an acoustic guitar, tuner, capo, and picks. Tuner, capo, and picks are available for purchase at Girl Guitar! You'll also want to watch this short video on how to tune your guitar before the first class.
