These classes will start out assuming you already have a basic knowledge of tuning, holding the guitar and pick, and how to change between some basic chords like G, C, D, A, em, etc. If you DON'T, burt still want to join us, email mandy@girlguitaraustin.com for info on getting a private lesson or two to get you up to speed! The class is meant to be for all levels, so there's no pressure for anyone to feel advanced or accomplished before beginning. 

We'll spend six weeks learning songs, playing with other folks, enjoying wine and laughs. and finally ending with a Showcase with your classmates! 

This is a six-week class that meets on Mondays at Trailhead Beer Garden in Kerrville, Tx from 7-8pm CT from Jan. 10 through Feb. 28 (skipping Jan. 19 for MLK Day and Feb. 14 for Valentine's Day), with a Showcase on TBA. This class is taught by Staci Foster and is for women 21+.

Congrats on getting started! This is going to be fun. You'll need an acoustic guitar, tuner, capo, and picks. Tuner, capo, and picks are available for purchase at Girl Guitar! You'll also want to watch this short video on how to tune your guitar before the first class.
