This ASMR Yoga Nidra Relaxation and Sound therapy session will take you on a journey into your body, through your breath, to the quiet stillness within. Sharing that state in community will recharge and restore you on many levels.
ASMR stands for Autonomic Sensory Meridian Response and refers to an experience of euphoria characterized by a combination of positive feelings and sometimes, a distinct tingling sensation on the skin. In this session, you will be invited to experience your ASMR through a variety of audio triggers, as well as optional scent and light touch triggers.
This practice will be experienced while laying on the mat in
Savasana, and you will be encouraged to get as comfortable as you
can, perhaps supporting the body with blankets, bolsters and/or
blocks if you choose.
Cintamani Cloud Scott has studied yoga for over 20 years and has been teaching since 2014. She is E-RYT 200 and YACEP certified with the Yoga Alliance and has studied with Masters Saraswati Jois and Sharath R. Jois in India and in the US. She started exploring ASMR triggers over 10 years ago as a personal sleep aid and now combines it with Yin/Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra, on her YouTube channel 'Cintamani Cloud Yoga' to help people relax into yoga poses or into bed.
