Suggested Pre-requisite Coursework for Mat Training
   -College Level Anatomy, Biomechanics, Posture Assessment

Though anatomy, biomechanics, and posture assessment will be discussed and reviewed throughout the course, if you do not meet this prerequisite, plan to spend additional time studying.

7-weeks Intensive Mat Workshop - Plan approximately 20hrs/week to Complete

Candidates for the “PATTI Mat Teacher” Diploma must complete the following:

- Completion of Pilates Teacher Training Online/Hybrid Training (Pilates History, repertoire, teaching/cueing, special populations & contraindications, anatomy)
  - 20hrs Observation (10 hours may be approved pre-recorded instruction)
  - 15hrs Personal Review/Practice
  - 15hrs Pilates Mat Classes and/or Privates Sessions with a qualified Pilates Teacher Trainer.
  - 3hrs Assistant Teaching/Student Teaching (with a qualified Teacher Trainer)
  - 5hrs Supervised Student Teaching/Mentorship (under the supervision of a qualified Teacher Trainer)
  - 5hrs Solo Student Teaching/Practice Teaching (group classes & private training on the Mat, min 2 different clients)
  - 2hrs Exams (1hr practical & 1hr written)
