YANG/YIN This class we begin with setting an intention to balance the dark and light, masculine and feminine, sun and moon, hot and cold, the yang and yin energies in our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. The yoga practice will include yang style poses that are warming and strengthening. The last portion of the class will focus on yin style poses that are slower paced and longer held for deep stretching. Yin poses target the main energetic meridians in the body. Often yin poses are propped up with blankets, blocks and bolsters to allow for a deeper release for the connective tissue. This class is accessible to ALL levels.
