An inviting accessible gentle Hatha Yoga practice based on the principles of self-observation with compassion, while placing equal emphasis on breathing (pranayama), poses (asana) and quieting the mind (dhyana). This class focuses on gentle potures to build strength, flexibilty and balance.
Practitioners are encouraged to modify poses and use props as desired in order to build a personal inner practice based upon awareness of bodily sensations. This practice is perfect for those that want a nurturing, slower paced and relaxingg practice that also encourages mindfulness and body awareness. All levels are welcome.
