This class will stream LIVE from the studio with
students who've registered for the in-class
experience.
In this Yin yoga class, we aim to deepen and direct
our postures towards the connective tissues that are less
frequently targeted in other types of yoga classes. This practice
serves as a complement to the Yang styles of yoga, which are more
dynamic and focused on muscle activation.
We will teach you to listen closely to your body.
During these slow-paced sessions, you will encounter the presence
of a posture and learn how to quietly let go, allowing the mind to
begin to quiet. As you hold poses for a longer period of time,
where you have found subtle resistance, yet are relaxed and
supported, the joints and tissues will become
healthier.
Most postures are held for between 2-5
minutes.
The class is warmed to 80 degrees.
