Calm the mind and body with this Restorative Yoga class. Dedicate this hour to yourself. Restorative Yoga poses require no muscular exertion; each pose is held for several minutes and is deeply supported by bolsters, blankets and blocks. Complete muscular relaxation and comfort are emphasized to achieve a quiet state of mind and body. Deep restorative work improves range of motion and joint mobility, while reducing pain and the physical effects of stress on our bodies. Students will leave feeling nourished, rested and refreshed. Guided Mindfulness Meditation is also incorporated throughout the class. No yoga or meditation experience is needed and all levels are welcome.
