IN PERSON Yin/Restorative Nidra taught by a dedicated Yoga Teacher who will guide you safely and personally. Choose from gentle and therapeutic restorative yoga using props to deepen the benefits, or rest deeply in a posture as gravity takes hold of you. It is a soothing and nurturing practice that promotes the effects of conscious relaxation. Prepare for this class by bringing with you some props (bolsters, block, pillows, 2-3 blankets, beach towels are always a great prop).
Yoga Nidra is the practice of conscious sleep while resting in a deep guided relaxation posture. Release accumulated tension in muscular, emotional and mental systems.
The parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) often referred to the “rest and digest” will bring its response system back into equilibrium. Stimulating the PNS helps to lower heart rate, blood pressure, calms digestion and helps to stimulate the immune system.
Yogic texts state that peace can only be found within, never without. As you continue this practice you will effectively manage stress, relieve pain, sleep will deepen and you will regain and maintain health and learn how to relax and harmonize your own body and mind.
COVID HEALTH PROTOCOLS - UPON ENTERING THE PREMISES YOU ARE REQUIRED TO:

-maintain 2 metre/6 feet distance between staff and students at all times.
