This design allows you to optimize your heart rate for fat-burning while developing strength! Unlike some other classes, the moves are not choreographed to the music; rather, the music plays in the background to focus on the work and coaching.

What is Functional Fitness? Basically, functional fitness focuses on the 7 primal movements that the human body needs to survive in nature (Squat, Lunge, Push, Pull, Hinge, Twist, and Walk/Run). In Function Fitness, we focus on improving our strength and developing our ability to master all of those movement patterns.
What is Circuit Training? Circuit training is a workout technique involving a series of exercises performed in rotation with short periods of recovery.
How do Functional Fitness & Circuit Training work together? Using the Circuit Training Format, we progressively arrange exercises that feature each of the primal movement categories to create a circuit. We then stack these circuits (with recovery built in between each round) to create the 45’ workout. This format allows us to manipulate intensity to drive your heart rate into a moderate cardiovascular training zone, while still incorporating strength training with either bodyweight or handheld weights.
