“The Song of the Divine” and How it Relates to Our Lives: Six Week Class Series
Join the final live online sessions in which students will read and discuss Chapters 15 – 18 of the Bhagavad Gita, as translated in rhymed verse by Sant Keshavadas. This series, facilitated by Rama Jyoti Vernon’s daughter, Mira Murphy, and friend Ann Wagoner, marks the completion of sessions taught by Rama Jyoti Vernon which began in July 2020.
The Bhagavad Gita is an uplifting and highly inspiring teaching that gives courage, understanding and advice in traversing our spiritual paths when the conditions of our society are erupting all around. The guidelines that Krishna sets forth in a time of turbulence, are profound in this ancient text, and timely for our world today.
When last we met online, we discussed the discrimination between the Field and the Knower of the Field. Join us for the last chapters on understanding the three Gunas, or qualities of matter, that bind us and how to find freedom from matter’s grip. What better way to unwind from your week, than to listen to the dialogue between Arjuna and Krishna on the ancient secrets of the soul!
Price Options: Regular $115 • Equity $65 • Supporting $149
A portion of the proceeds from this series will be used to continue the work of Rama Jyoti Vernon.
