Yin Yoga is a style of yoga that emphasizes staying in the
poses for several minutes at a time. The practice targets
tension trapped in the deepest layers of the joints and
tissues. When done in a heated room (95º F), the muscles
really get stretched to their limits. Yin Yoga classes
provide plenty of opportunities to explore stillness, as well as
the intense physical and emotional sensations that get released
when we stay in a posture for a long time.
