Traditional Hatha Yoga nurtures the breath-body connection and pays hommage to traditional yogic practice. This class will be taught with English translation for Sanskrit language terms throughout, and traditional prayers will be spoken before and after the class to honour the roots of the practice.
Who would benefit most from this class:
People who are genuinely interested in the roots of Yoga and want to immerse themselves in an authentic practice that teaches correct postural alignment, and incorporates the many limbs (elements) of yoga beyond asana (physical postures).

Required props for this class (must have):
- A yoga mat
- 2 yoga blocks
- A yoga strap
If you do not have any of the required props listed, you can rent them from the studio for $1/prop/class.We also have a monthly prop rental program. For $10 you can access as many props as you need all month.
We DO NOT rent blankets, so if these are required, please be sure to bring your own.
Recommended Props (nice to have):
- 2 blankets or large towels
