Eighteenth Element's Barre class is a fun fusion of Ballet
inspired moves mixed with Pilates, yoga, and functional training.
This equipment based workout utilizes a barre or chair to provide
stability, balance, and support during the exercise series.
Additionally, we use light weights, gliders, resistance bands,
ankle weights, and squishy balls to sculpt, slim, and stretch your
entire body – without the impact and injuries dancers endure. Class
is mainly low impact, but the instructor occasionally offers short
high impact bursts which are completely optional. And...No you
don’t have to know how to dance!
A Barre Element class has 6 barre blocks:
Warm Up... @Barre... Upper Body... Total Body Cardio Burst... Core... Stretch
*Bring a towel and your water bottle. Class can be done barefoot
or with toe sox (grippy socks).
