This Yin inspired Candle light class is super chill! Each pose is held for longer periods of time—some asanas as long as five minutes or more. There are three principals of Yin Yoga: Come into the pose to an appropriate depth. Resolve to remain still. Hold the pose for time.
Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissue of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating a awareness of inner silence and self inquiry.
New yogis welcome. (Warm class)
