Feldenkrais Awareness
Through Movement® classes are comprised of guided
gentle
movements
and self-awareness, which when taken together allow the nervous
system
to
naturally release unneeded effort in action, and more precisely
coordinate our
movements.
This allows a palpable new lightness and freedom in how we move,
in
everyday
activity to more targeted movements of sports, artistic expression
and more.
The
classes taught at BalanceYoga will be primarily floor-based. Our
initial classes will
focus on
movements of the spine, pelvis, and shoulders.
