Join us for a steady, intentional morning practice as part of Balance Yoga’s grand opening weekend. This extended session draws on the principle of tapas — the inner fire that builds strength through consistent, mindful effort.
Together, we’ll move through a slow-burn, strength-focused flow that emphasizes sustained holds, controlled transitions, and breath-led awareness, allowing heat to build gradually and deliberately. Rather than rushing from pose to pose, this practice invites you to settle into effort and experience what it means to stay present within it.
We’ll close with longer restorative shapes and extended rest, giving you space to integrate your practice and feel grounded for the week ahead.
This gathering is especially meaningful as it takes place during the opening weekend of our new studio in Richmond, VT. As we step into this new space together, we invite you to be part of a shared moment of intention, connection, and community, grounding ourselves in calm and collective strength. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to VT Works for Women.
Join us for a special International Women's Day Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath. This 75 minute immersive experience will help you relax deeply, restore your nervous system, and connect with your inner shakti energy, the creative life force within us all, regardless of gender.

Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practiced lying down in comfort. This deeply restorative state can help reduce stress and anxiety, calm the nervous system, improve sleep quality, lower blood pressure, and support emotional balance. By guiding the body into a parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) state, Yoga Nidra promotes deep physical relaxation while maintaining gentle awareness.
As you rest, you’ll be immersed in a soothing sound bath designed to enhance relaxation, release tension, and restore energetic harmony. Together, these practices offer space to reset, reconnect, and replenish.
Whether you are new to these practices or experienced, join us as we celebrate community, generosity, renewal, and the power of Shakti within us all on this meaningful day.
