Mindful Moments: A Community Meditation Circle for Adults 50+
Facilitated by Monica Stein
Join us for a peaceful journey into meditation. This welcoming meditation circle offers a supportive environment to meditate on the Four Soul Questions inspired by Dr. Deepak Chopra.
*Donation based event: Donations to be paid directly to Monica Stein at time of the event*
Why Meditation Matters After 50: As we enter this enriching chapter of life, meditation provides powerful benefits including reduced stress, improved sleep quality, enhanced mental clarity, and support for cardiovascular health. Regular practice has been shown to foster a greater sense of overall wellbeing.
The Community Difference: While meditation is beneficial as a solo practice, sharing the experience in community offers unique advantages:
- The energy of group meditation often deepens individual practice
- Form meaningful connections with like-minded individuals on a similar journey
- Consistent accountability and motivation through shared commitment
Whether you're new to meditation or have an established practice, this circle welcomes you exactly as you are.

What to Expect:
– A 60-minute meditative experience combining live guided meditation and sound healing.

– A nourishing space where nothing is required but your willingness to rest.
We Provide:
– Yoga mats, bolsters, and eye pillows for your comfort

Step into a space of deep calm and inner restoration with our Sound Bath Meditation, held monthly at Behavioral Fitness in Walnut Creek.
This is not just a sound bath—it’s a guided meditative journey, where mindfulness meditation and sound healing are intentionally woven together. You’ll be gently led inward by a certified mindfulness meditation teacher and a shamanic priestess, who guide you with spoken word, breath, and awareness as the vibrations of crystal singing bowls, koshi chimes, ocean drum, and rain stick support your body, mind, and spirit.
Together, the voice and the instruments create a powerful synergy that helps shift your brainwaves into a theta state—a deeply relaxed and receptive state associated with healing, creativity, and integration.
What to Bring
– Comfortable clothing and cozy layers (think socks, sweaters, or a small blanket)
– A fragrance-free presence (no perfumes, essential oils, or scented products, please)
– Your full self, just as you are
Please Note:
