This special class is designed as a full energetic reset for your body, mind, and spirit.
In this extended HEATED version of our normal Friday morning Reiki Flow, we will honor the subtle body as we move through a mixture of breathwork, vinyasa flow, joint mobility, kundalini, yin, and chi gong designed to open and awaken the channels in the body. The last 15 minutes will be an extended savasana with time to receive reiki healing and an energetic chakra cleanse.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique to promote balance, relaxation, and well-being. It’s based on the knowledge that the body’s energy frequencies (and the energy frequencies of the world around us) affect our health and overall well-being. It aligns with similar principles of Chinese medicine and acupuncture and often works through balancing the body’s energetic channels – the chakra system, the nadi system, the nervous system, the circulatory system, and the lymph system.
Energy is all there is. Everything is made up of atoms and molecules simply energy vibrating at different frequencies. When this energy is flowing freely, we feel alive, free, open, spacious, connected, at peace. When it’s blocked or stagnant, we often feel depressed, lethargic, or like nothing is working. We can also have physical pain or disease associated or just a sense that something is off. Therefore, if we can balance the energy, we can bring balance and overall healing to the various systems of the body, bringing about wholeness, ease, and health.

Meditation is beneficial not only for the mind, but our whole system. By focusing within, we nurture our relationship with self, while reducing stress and promoting health and longevity. Mantra means “mind tool” and is a powerful practice to cultivate focus and inner awareness during meditation. This class will explore techniques of mantra sound, repetition and vibration to steady the mind and deepen meditation. Whether you are an experienced meditator or new to the practice, expect this class to provide tools and practices for your daily life. Together, we will explore the subtle power of mantra and meditation.

Through guided awareness and a layered soundscape of alchemy crystal bowls, gong, handpan, chimes, synthesizer, and looping, the body is invited into deep rest while the mind gently unwinds. As the inner waters begin to clear, space opens for intuition, synchronicity, emotional release, and the quiet magic of feeling life move with you.

Join Sybil, Haleigh, Esme and Cassidy to honor the longest day of the year with a 108 Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) practice on the Summer Solstice! This 90-minute moving meditation celebrates the pinnacle of light as we cultivate a steady, supportive rhythm of flow in body and breath. The number 108 holds deep symbolic meaning across traditions, often representing wholeness, cycles and connection. Repeating the sequence creates a ritual: a way to mark the seasonal shift, clear stagnation, ignite your inner fire and align with the natural rhythms of the sun and the turning Earth.
You'll be expertly guided by four of Bend Yoga Center's Vinyasa teachers to cultivate your stamina, set your own pace and complete this ritual in a sustainable manner. This practice is accessible to all levels and bodies (familiarity with Surya Namaskar A is beneficial). The experience offers variety, support and encouragement!
