At a time when chronic illness and overmedication have become the norm, one Jacksonville Beach practioner is inviting the public to explore a different path. One rooted in ancient wisdom and the body's innate ability to heal.
Dr. Jeanie Grace, a board-certified Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental medicine, will present “Aging Without Illness,” a free community event that blends centuries-old healing practices with modern understanding.
Hosted by Circle of Chi Wellness, the event takes place 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. November 1. Attendees will experience an immersive introduction to Tai Chi Gung, a self-regenerative health system tracing back more than 3,000 years to Darchen, Tibet.
The class begins at noon followed at 1 p.m. by a discourse on acupuncture and Chinese medicine led by Dr. Grace. At 2 p.m. a drawing will award select participants a complimentary acupuncture sample session.
Attendees will experience an immersive introduction to Tai Chi Gung, a self-regenerative health system tracing back more than 3,000 years. The event is designed for those seeking to reduce dependence on pharmaceuticals and explore holistic approaches to common health challenges.
