Join us second Fridays for an experience of sound and
movement, as we create organic, danceable soundscapes, together.
All levels welcome and encouraged! Bring your instruments, or
borrow one of ours... Come play, dance, or sing, and be uniquely
and beautifully YOU in a safe and welcoming environment. Release
your tension and frustration, in a magical place where humans have
been doing this for hundreds of years! Tap into that magic...
You'll leave feeling SO relaxed, connected, free, and alive!
Threatening Rain? We dance and drum in the greenhouse and stay
cozy and dry!
No drums? No worries! We have plenty!
Doors Open at 6pm, come settle in, meditate in the beautiful
grounds, & catch up! Then join us at 6:30pm for a 30-minute
Middle Eastern Drumming Class: We'll teach rhythms and technique
that belly dancers LOVE to dance to!
Then at 7pm we'll get started with our facilitated drum circle
fun. We'll have some drums or bring your own; all instruments
welcome! Melody instruments welcome, too!
No need to pre-register, just come! Donations

Join us for our annual Hip Expressions Holiday Party, where we
come together to celebrate, connect, and share our love for our
dance and our community. Our diversity is our strength, as we share
dances from all over the world; Flamenco, Belly Dance, Burlesque,
Samba, Polynesian - it's all welcome! Performances by students and
professionals, enjoy the variety of music, dance, and of course at
the end, we ALL dance. You know it's a party if it's a Hip Ex
Party!
Wear your favorite costume, or your holiday SPARKLE best.
Bring a gift, take a gift. (approx $20) Drums and instruments
welcome!
Wear your RED flower!
This year, we're at the Hawthorne Bottle Shoppe! Register for
the event, and receive 15% off at the bar.
Family & Friends welcome, donations appreciated; food and
drink available for purchase please support our venue, so they
support us - we all win! Come early for the *amazing* jazz by James
Suggs 3 - 5:30pm.
