May Future Stars League (4 Weeks)
May 3, 2026 - May 24, 2026
Future Stars League — 1st & 2nd Graders (Coed)

Your kid loved basketball this season. Now it's over, they're stuck inside, and you can already see the energy building with nowhere to go.

Future Stars is a Sunday morning league designed specifically for 1st and 2nd graders — structured enough that they actually improve, but built around games and competition so it never feels like a chore. Each session runs one hour:

- 10-15 minutes of coached instruction — age-appropriate skills and rules, taught by HoopsStrength trainers with D1 playing and coaching backgrounds
- Two 16-20 minute games — real competition with weekly awards: Team of the Day, Hard Worker of the Day, and Best Teammate
- New teammates every week — rosters shuffle each Sunday so your child plays with different kids and builds confidence
with new faces (they can request one friend to stay with)
- A HoopsStrength jersey they keep

Every game is coached and refereed by HoopsStrength floor coaches who get to know your child by name — not parent volunteers figuring it out as they go.

Registration is capped to keep groups small. Your child gets real attention, real reps, and comes home Sunday morning tired, proud, and asking when next week is.

Intro To Hoops Kindergarten - 2nd Grade (4 Weeks)
May 5, 2026 - May 26, 2026
Most kids in rec basketball spend the whole game waiting — waiting for the ball, waiting for a turn, waiting to feel like they belong out there. Intro to Hoops is built so that never happens.

This is a 4-week beginner program designed for kids in kindergarten through 2nd grade who are picking up a basketball for the first time. Every session is one hour, once a week, with no more than 10 athletes per coach — so your child gets real attention, real reps, and real feedback every single time they step on the court.

We use 7-foot hoops and age-appropriate basketballs so the game fits your kid, not the other way around. Your child will:
• Learn the core fundamentals — dribbling, passing, shooting form, and footwork — through structured drills that build on each other week over week
• Handle the ball far more in 4 sessions than most kids get in an entire rec season
• Build real basketball knowledge: how the game works, where to move, and why — not just what to do when someone tells them to
• Gain the kind of confidence that only comes from doing hard things and getting better at them
• Leave each session knowing exactly what they improved — and ready to come back

By week four, you won't just see a kid who's learned some basketball. You'll see a kid who stands taller, competes harder, and asks to go practice in the driveway. Check the schedule and grab their spot before it fills.

HoopsStrength Summer Basketball Camp K-2 (HALF DAY)
Aug 10, 2026 - Aug 13, 2026

Most summer camps keep kids busy. Very few actually make them better.

HoopsStrength Summer Basketball Camp is built for players who want real development — and for parents who want more than a gym full of kids casually shooting around. Every day follows a structured system designed by the same coaches who train many of Rochester’s most dedicated young players year-round.

Each morning is built around four skill stations focused on ball handling, shooting, finishing, and game decision-making. After lunch, players compete — small games, situational drills, and full-court live play where the morning’s skills show up in real action. Throughout the week, campers also hear from a college player or standout local athlete about what it actually takes to improve.

What your child gets:

  • Hundreds of purposeful skill reps daily — far more than typical camp play

  • Four focused skill stations every morning targeting the fundamentals players use in games

  • Competitive games and full-court live play every afternoon so skills translate to real basketball

  • A guest session with a college or standout local player sharing the path to getting better

  • A written evaluation card at the end of the week outlining strengths, progress, and what to work on next

By Thursday afternoon, players don’t just leave tired — they leave more confident with the ball, sharper in live play, and motivated to keep improving.

Choose the week that fits your child’s grade level and reserve a spot before sessions fill.
