GIRLS 5TH/6TH GRADE – Just Play League + Training (5 Weeks)
If your daughter enjoys basketball but barely touches the ball in games… or hesitates when it swings her way… that’s not a confidence problem.
It’s a reps problem.
This all-girls league is built to solve it. Each 90-minute session starts with structured skills training, then flows directly into two full 20-minute games — so she doesn’t just learn something new, she uses it immediately in real full-court play.
With a 10:1 coach-to-player ratio and an equal playing time guarantee, no one disappears. Teams shuffle weekly, and coaches rebalance matchups as the league progresses to keep competition even and growth consistent.
What makes this different:
-
90 minutes of intentional development every session
-
A dedicated skills block before gameplay
-
40 minutes of live full-court games each week
-
Equal playing time — development isn’t reserved for a few
-
Weekly team reshuffling to prevent “stacked” teams
-
A reversible jersey she keeps
This isn’t one short game where a handful of players dominate while others watch. It’s structured training plus real minutes on the floor in an all-girls environment where she can compete freely.
By the final week, you’ll see her call for the ball, attack space, and make decisions without looking to the sideline first.
Five weeks. Clear growth. Register now and secure her spot.
If your son or daughter is working hard but still getting bumped off balance, rushing layups, or struggling to create space — it’s not effort they’re missing. It’s footwork.
What This Program IS:
This 4-week, one-hour training series is built on the HoopsStrength Footwork & Movement System — the same foundational structure every HoopsStrength athlete learns first.
Each session runs through a four-part progression: precision shooting footwork, movement without the ball, advanced ball control, and agility-based strength drills. Every player is moving. Every rep has purpose. Nothing random.
What Your Child Gets:
• 3–5x more live shooting reps than a typical team
practice — with specific 1-2 step and inside-foot mechanics taught
the right way
• Finishing reps through contact, off cuts, and off screens — not uncontested layup lines
• Ball-handling circuits that build control at speed,
not just stationary dribbles
• Agility and strength work that improves balance, explosion, and defensive movement
• Clear, repeatable fundamentals they can apply immediately in games
The Payoff:
Four weeks from now, your child won’t just “look busy” on the court — they’ll move with control. They’ll plant, pivot, finish strong, and know why it works. That confidence shows up in tryouts, games, and how they carry themselves.
Reserve your spot — we keep numbers tight so every athlete gets real reps and real coaching.
Most summer camps keep kids busy. Very few actually make them better.
HoopsStrength Summer Basketball Camp is built for players who want real development — and for parents who want more than a gym full of kids casually shooting around. Every day follows a structured system designed by the same coaches who train many of Rochester’s most dedicated young players year-round.
Each morning is built around four skill stations focused on ball handling, shooting, finishing, and game decision-making. After lunch, players compete — small games, situational drills, and full-court live play where the morning’s skills show up in real action. Throughout the week, campers also hear from a college player or standout local athlete about what it actually takes to improve.
What your child gets:
-
Hundreds of purposeful skill reps daily — far more than typical camp play
-
Four focused skill stations every morning targeting the fundamentals players use in games
-
Competitive games and full-court live play every afternoon so skills translate to real basketball
-
A guest session with a college or standout local player sharing the path to getting better
-
A written evaluation card at the end of the week outlining strengths, progress, and what to work on next
By Thursday afternoon, players don’t just leave tired — they leave more confident with the ball, sharper in live play, and motivated to keep improving.
Choose the week that fits your child’s grade level and reserve a spot before sessions fill.
